Grandpa drops Kelsey off at school somedays when I have to work late so that I can spend time with her and then Mark picks her up on his way home. I think she's ready for school. I just have to find a desk small enough for her. My students would love to have her there. :-)

Loving to Fall
Kelsey loves to practice her standing. She's not pulling herself up yet, but if Mark or I hold her up she wobbles for a moment and then falls, and she loves it!

NanNan babysits
Grandpa took a few days off to go down to N.C. and visit Nathan for his birthday, so NanNan came down to babysit Kelsey. Of course I didn't get pictures the 4 days she was here until right before she left. Thanks NanNan for coming down to play. You are welcome anytime!!! Bring PopPop too!
While NanNan was here Kelsey army crawled her way over to our DVD rack and pulled off the bottom movies. This was hilarious to watch as she looked at the movies like she was actually picking one out to watch. Once she noticed I was taking pictures, she turned and looked..."I didn't do it."

Playdate at Kinder Park Farm
Last week Thursday I had off so my teacher friends decided it would be a great day to have a playdate. These are the babies I would see during my maternity leave. They have all gotten so big! We met at Kinder Park Farm which has a playground so the 2 and 3 year olds could run around. I brought a blanket for the babies to roll around on. There were 7 babies, 7 adults, and 2 toddlers. There is a section at the farm with animals, but no pictures were taken during that part because Kelsey was on the brink of a nap, so we kept her in her stroller. No pictures of the new baby to the group. She is only 4 weeks old and was sleeping the whole time in her stroller.
Above: Carlee, Kendall, Eleanor, and Kelsey. Carlee and Kendall (8 months) are twins and Eleanor (almost 8 months) is their cousin.
Below Left: Kelsey and Tyler (7 months). Below Right: Braeden (4 months), Tyler, and Kelsey.

Swing and a new hat
Kelsey and Grandpa went outside, on Sept. 26th to try out. Kelsey's swing. She fits in it much better now. That evening my friend Sarah came over to hang out since Mark was out of town. Her mom, Rhoda, was kind to knit Kelsey a pumpkin hat. It fits perfectly and Kelsey kept it on while she crawled around the living room. Thanks Rhoda!!!

Towson Homecoming
Mark and I got to take Kelsey to her first Towson tailgating at Homecoming on Sept. 24th. Unfortunately, the game was at 7 pm and that is too late for Kelsey to be at the game, so we came home after hanging out with Timm, Kristen, Meghan, Dan, Jenn, and Sean. Everyone had their chance of holding and playing with Kelsey. A great time was had by all, except when Timm was holding her. :-)

Babysitter in Training
Emily, 9, came over the other morning to play since her mom was out of town and sister and dad had to work. Kelsey loves watching other kids and was thrilled to have Emily over. Emily is wonderful to have around and we know she'll make a great babysitter in a few years. For those of you who were there, or saw pictures, Emily was our flowergirl when she was 4 years old!

Belated 8 Months!
One of these days I will get things together and blog pictures on time. And by one of these days I mean June when school is out. Here is Kelsey at 8 months. She is loving to move around the room by army crawling, is saying her "B" and "P" sounds, not so much "momma" any more. She is eating very well, but still small for her age. We'll find out exact info at her 9 month dr. appt. As of now she is still 3 months behind in clothes, so 3-6 are still fitting her and maybe by 9 months she'll move into 6-9. She also LOVES reading books, and can do so all by herself, enjoy the video. :-)

Torn Between Teams
Kelsey is a Phillies fan for baseball and a Redskins fan for football, but what about college football? Mark is a Penn State fan and I am a Husker fan, so we had to come to an agreement....Kelsey is both! We have to have a wardrobe change during the day to make sure she wears both of her shirts to support the teams. GO STATE.....GO HUSKERS!!!!
Watching Penn State with Daddy...TOUCHDOWN!!!! We are working on getting her to raise her arms at the right time. :-)
These are her favorite teething toys. Grandpa got them for her and she loves taking her keys everywhere!
Kelsey is crawling much faster now. She lifts her head up alot more and is starting to get her butt in the air. You definately have to keep an eye on her.
