Pool Time

We are very fortunate to have moved to the neighborhood of our friends the Shaeffers who have an above ground pool.  The other day Katie called to invite Kelsey and me over to go swimming, a perk of being teachers.  Here we are enjoying the hot summer day.  Thank you to Cousin Grace, for letting Kelsey use your wonderful bathing suit with sleeves and the Ocacroke hat. 

 

Do you see how big the chair is?  She is sitting up very well in it.

Another Wedding

Mark and I both had our best friends get married within 2 months of each other.  Chris (Whitey) and Krista got married on June 12th in Shippensburg, PA.  It was a goregous, and a bit hot (thanks rain), outdoor wedding.  We were so happy to be a part of their day.  Kelsey, again, did not attend this wedding.  Cousin Michelle was very kind to watch her.  We wish the best for Whitey and Krista as they start thier new life together.

Mark was the best man and doing a great job by holding the bridesmaids' flowers while they took pictures of the happy couple dancing.  How sweet!

Playground

As you can see, I'm off of work again and have more time to blog.  Shawn and Jenelle have done such a wonderful job blogging about their time in Maryland that now I'm catching up with our pictures.
Our new house came with a little playground in the backyard. Grace was very helpful to clean off the swings and slides with me so that the kids could play.

 

 

 

5 Months!

Today Kelsey is 5 months old.  We took these pictures last night.  She can roll over to her side and from tummy to back like a champ.  At times she is chatty, which we caught on video. She loves playing with her feet and grabbing at things that Mommy holds like her water glass.  Kelsey can see Ella more clearly and loves watching her.  As you can see Ella loves Kelsey too and is holding her hand.  I think it's cute how they are the same size. :-) She is still small for her age as she can still fit in 0-3 month clothes. We are just now beginning to get out 3-6 month. 

 

Matching Dresses

So, Aunt Tammie and Uncle Randy went to Maui for some rest and relaxation.  They were very kind to bring Kelsey and Grace back matching outfits.  Here are the girls "posing" for pictures.  Thank you Tammie

Happy Daddy's Day!

 

Happy Daddy's Day to my Daddy, Uncle Shawn, Uncle Chad, Grandpa, and PopPop!  You guys are the greatest (especially my Daddy!)!!!

Baptism Party

After the Baptism we had a celebration at the house.  Kelsey changed into her "party dress" which was Cousin Grace's baptismal dress.  It was great to have both Cousin Grace and Cousin Nathan with us to celebrate.  The two of them got along great and played together on our playground in the backyard.  Kelsey was taking a nap and didn't get to run around with them, maybe next time.  Kelsey's friend Ben was there too running around with the football.

So much fun was had that both Kelsey's Godfather and Robin's Godfather took naps.  Looks like the new recliner is a hit!  Goddaddy Dan, there are beds in the house to use next time instead of the floor.

After the party Aunt Jenelle, Uncle Chad, and Cousin Grace had to fly back to Florida.  The girls got to take some pictures together, but were both sad to say good-bye.

Kelsey's Baptism

 We had a wonderful day celebrating Kelsey and her baptism.  She was a very happy baby during the baptism, during church, and after.  She took pictures with mostly everyone who came like her Godparents, Meghan and Dan, the Smith Family, and the Hall Family. We were so thankful to have everyone travel from Florida, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and PG County.  Robin's Godparents Linda, Paul, and Jari were there along with Mark's cousins Randy and Tammie.  Kelsey is the 10th person in our family to wear the baptismal dress which started with Robin's Grandma Wiechman 93 years ago.  Rachel, Melissa, and Robin all wore it as well.  It's hard to believe we were all that little. :-)
