The Circus

We took the kids to the circus this evening. If you ask Kelsey what her favorite part was she'll tell you " All of it! ". She didn't care for the lions and tigers in the ring with the one guy. That was a little scary as were the 8 guys on motorcycles going around a huge sphere. Evan loved the horses and if you look careful enough at the dark picture you'll see him clapping. It was a fun experience for us all!

Kelsey's first movie

Mark and I took Kelsey to see her first movie at the theater last night. We saw Cinderella. A local theater does cheaper tickets on Tuesdays, so that's why we went during the week. There were only about 25 people in the theater, half under the age of 7. She loved it!! It was a little long due to previews and commercials, but she was a champ. The Frozen short at the beginning was awesome. Thanks Granpa for staying with Evan. :)

Happy Birthday NanNan!

Happy Birthday NanNan!!!!  Last weekend Mark went to Florida for Phillies Spring Training.  PopPop went down too so NanNan came to stay with us, Yay!  We had a wonderful weekend of shopping, lunch at Panera, and church.  We love all of the time she comes down to spend with us!

Strike a Pose

Kelsey had her last dance class tonight. She enjoyed herself and we're going to look into going to a different place in the fall.

This is by far the cutest moment, but I'm sure not the last.  Evan is getting a little more steady on his feet, but is still not walking around everywhere.  Kelsey did a great job holding Evan up to keep dancing. Love! Enjoy.....

Beginning to Walk

Evan started taking a few more steps on Sunday, March 8th with his godfather Whitey and Mark.  He took more confident steps today on his birthday.  It won't be long now.

Evan's First Birthday

Happy birthday to Evan!  Happy birthday to Evan!  Happy birthday dear Evan, happy birthday to you!  We had the joy of celebrating Evan's first birthday with friends and family on Sunday with pizza and cake.  NanNan and I are into making creative cakes, meaning I find the cake I like and NanNan makes. :)  We went with a train theme and it was awesome!  Of course Evan decided to take a 2 hour plus afternoon nap and slept through most of his party.  Not to worry I woke him up to have a little dinner and then to serve cake.  It went well until he almost burned his finger by trying to touch the candle Kelsey was trying to blow out.  No harm was done and cake, with mostly frosting, was enjoyed by all.  Thanks to all who made this day extra special for Evan.

Port Discovery

Kelsey, Evan, and Granpa went to Port Discovery, a kid's museum in Baltimore, on Friday, Feb. 27th.  The kids had a great time playing in all of the different rooms, but apparently the Lego room and the water room were the biggest hit. My favorite is Granpa taking a selfie with the kids. The dragon is made completely out of Legos, so cool! Thanks Granpa for a fabulous field trip!

 

Sleeping Evan

Granpa got a picture before of Evan snuggling with his lion Leo while he was sleeping and I had another chance to get new pictures (Feb. 25th).  He brings Leo to bed and takes him out of the crib every morning.  Thanks Grandma for such a wonderful lion.
