Florida Visits and Goes to Camp Newburg

It's the time the kids were waiting for all summer.....CAMP NEWBURG!!!  This is when NanNan and PopPop take the kids for a week or more and get to spoil the kids.  Kelsey made herself sick being so excited about summertime knowing Camp Newburg was coming.  The neighbors have a large trampoline, so the kids got to use it.  We also all took a trip to Dutch Wonderland so that Hazel could ride the best ride ever, according to Grace and Kelsey, The Whip!  It did not disappoint and they all took turns riding in pairs.  Enjoy!

The ever famous WHIP at Dutch Wonderland!

 Everyone on the train!!!!
Let's start saving for the girls to drive a Jeep when they're older.
Then Matthew and Evan can use it when they're old enough.

Kelsey and PopPop's first ever roller coaster ride!!!!

Kelsey and Grace about to go on the swings.
A Hazel sandwich!
Maybe next year the boys will be in the green zone!!!!  Unfortunately that means we have to pay for them then.
Thanks NanNan and PopPop for a fun filled day!!!!

Florida Comes to Visit / VBS

On July 9th Uncle Chad arrived in Maryland after driving up from Florida with the 3 cousins.  The girls were more than excited to see each other.  They arrived to be able to go to our VBS at our church, which I am the coordinator for.  This year's theme was Noah's Ark.  We have an artist in the congregation who painted the animals.  Each day the girls stood by one for pictures.  We also have color themed days.  On Wednesday, Chad took the boys up to PA for their own Camp Newburg while the girls stayed at my house.  Mark then took the girls up on Friday night to start their Camp Newburg.  I got a weekend to myself, which has never happened, to relax after a fun and busy week at VBS.

Gotta get free Slurpees for all on 7-11

Mommy's bedtime to say good-bye before Evan went to PA for 5 days.

Hazel is such a BIG help in the kitchen!!!

Family Fun Night where Grandma and Granpa came to help play games with the girls.

Sandy Point

I know I'm behind in the blog so I'll do a recent post and then rewind and show off our summer fun!  Yesterday my friend Sarah and I took the kids to Sandy Point State Park for a union picnic.  We go every year since it's food, prizes, and beach.  Oh yea, and did I mention snow cones?  That's the biggest hit!

North Carolina Continued

We took the kids to a bounce place which was fun for everyone but Evan. He was so scared being there and figuring out what to do.  He finally loosened up and had a great time.  That night Grandma treated them to Chuck E. Cheese.  This is always a hit with the kids.  It was a great visit and love that they had so much time together this summer!

North Carolina Day 1

Grandma came with me to visit everyone down in NC. On June 27th we went to our favorite place Hillridge Farm.  The kids had a blast, as usual.  They have a splash pad that was very refreshing for the kids and for us.

New Circulation Desk

Today Evan came with me to school to see my new circulation desk be installed.  I'm very excited that the head of media said I could get rid of my old white desk (see below) and pick a new desk.  I didn't get to pick the actual desk, but I did get to choose the colors.  I'll go in next week to start hooking up the computers and fill some drawers. :-)  Evan and I went to the public library afterwards to get some new books.  Here he is reading is favorite, Maisy.

Pool Time with Friends

Last weekend we got to use the Shaeffer's pool while they were out of town.  We had the Shereika's come over to join us.  The kids had a great time!  Kelsey got to show off her swimming and the boys floated around.  Later that night the Carroll's came down to visit and we got to see baby Jillian and Madden.  Thanks Shaeffers!!!!
