Happy Easter!

Happy Easter, a day late.  We had a great time celebrating Easter with all of the kids.  Kelsey thought that Santa was coming too because we tried to compare the Easter bunny with Santa coming once a year and how they both watch if you are being good, but we were talking to a 2 year old, so she asked about Santa first thing in the morning.
Kelsey also had a first by sleeping in Nathan's toddler bed while we were there and not the pack-n-play.  She did a great job and stayed in the bed, mostly, until we told her she could get up.  She'll stay in her crib at home, but now she can stay at other's houses without the pack-n-play.

Happy 1st Birthday Kristen!!!

We were super lucky to be able to come down to North Carolina to celebrate Kristen's first birthday and be here for Easter.  Nathan's other cousin Madyson was also down with Grandma and Grandpa Replogle.  Today we went to an Easter Egg Hunt at their church and then in the evening we celebrated Kristen's birthday with friends Mikki, Logan, and Isabella.  We have had a wonderful time and can't wait for Easter tomorrow.

Below left: Kristen on her 1st birthday. Below right: decorating the door.

Above : Kelsey and Nathan at the Easter Egg hunt. Left:  Kelsey and Kristen have matching outfits, so of course we had to get a picture!!
Again, the birthday girl!!!!

Birthday presents are shared and opened by all of the family and friends.
A great day was had by all!!

Playing in the Snow

Kelsey has been practicing going down stairs by herself at the gym.  She tried it this morning and did a great job!

This is my Spring Break from school and wouldn't you know it we get snow.  Kelsey has not wanted to go into the snow, but I finally got her to go. Emily came over to play outside and stayed until naptime.  We went out two times and made three snowmen in all.  I think Kelsey likes the snow now.

Chef Kelsey

Kelsey loves to stand on our stool in the kitchen and "help" make things.  Here are some of the times she has helped.  Thanks NanNan and PopPop for the apron!

These were pancakes we had for dinner one night.  Mark tried to get fancy.

We made cookies together while I was off on a "snow" day.  It mainly rained that day, oh well, we got cookies out of the day. :-)

Hazel's Baptism

This past weekend we went to Florida to celebrate Hazel's Baptism and Grace's 6th birthday.  Kelsey did a great job on the airplane and enjoyed playing with her cousins.  More pictures will continue to trickle in, but these are my favorite family pictures.  Thanks for a wonderful time!!!

B & O Railroad Museum

Grandpa took Kelsey to the B and O Railroad museum on January 9th and had a wonderful time seeing the Lego exhibit and all of the trains.

January Catch-Up

Hello Again!  I'm going to play January Catch-up and put some pictures on here of things I missed.  Hope you enjoy!

Mark got a deep fryer for Christmas, from me, so he could make yummy friend chicken and potato crisps and anything else he can come up with.  Here is some fabulous fried chicken that I just had to share from January 6.

On January 11 we were in PA for a weekend.  While we were there Whitey and Krista came over to visit and Kelsey got to see Krista's belly. We are very excited for the end of April to welcome their baby boy.  We were up there to see Uncle Chad and Cousin Hazel who came from Florida.  NanNan enjoyed her time with Hazel.

Kelsey got quality Hazel time and the boys worked on the back porch that is being turned into an all around year room.  Enjoy the family pictures of our wonderful time together.
