It was Grace's half birthday while we were there, so Jenelle made her a half of cake.

Florida Trip
Here are more pictures from our trip to Florida. We had a great time at the pool and relaxing at home with everyone. Chad had his surgery in late August and is now back to work.
The guys took Grace and Kelsey to an indoor play park which had playsets after playsets to play with. They had a blast. It's also fun because it was within walking distance. Not sure they found it so much fun when it was a super hot day.

Towson's Homecoming
Fight on Towson Tigers! We went up to Towson on Sat. Sept. 22 for Towson's Homecoming to tailgate. Since it was a 7 pm game, we did not stay to watch the game. The weather forecast said it should rain, but we figured we would go anyway to see friends. It ended up raining on and off and then really hard. Luckily it stopped when it was time for us to walk back to our car.
Kelsey had some friends to play with, Natalie, 2 and a half, and Aiden, a little over 2. She was a champ throughout the sun and the rain. Go Towson Tigers!
The Kobrins did bring a tent, yay! It had to be set up next to a fence to keep it standing, boo! It kept us mostly dry during the down-pour, yay!
Below: Natalie was taught how to "walk the line" by Jenn when looking for something to enterain her during tailgating. Here she is teaching Kelsey how to walk on the white line.

Nebraska Trip
On August 8th we flew out to Nebraska to celebrate Grandma Wiechman's 95th birthday. Yes, that was the same day Hazel was born. Luckily we got to fly to Florida after Nebraska. It was alot of flying and Kelsey did pretty well. Our time in NE was amazing with lots and lots of family. Kelsey talks about Great Grandma all of the time and knows exactly who she is when we call to say hi. I'm so thrilled she's been able to know her and that Great Grandma is doing well for 95. Love to all who were there for this amazing occassion.

Baby Hazel
On August 8th we were blessed with the birth of our Niece Hazel Rose. We weren't there when she was born, since we were out in Nebraska celebrating my Grandma's 95th (pictures to come), but we flew there from Nebraska to spend the next week with the family. Kelsey and Grace had a great time playing together while we relaxed and enjoyed Baby Hazel.
Gotta love having waffles for breakfast together.

A Visit from The Risners (3 days worth)
Our friends Kristen and Dustyn along with the their two kids Owen (2) and Kaitlyn (4) came down from Erie, PA to visit from July 22 - 26th. We had lots of fun catching up and sight seeing together. Kelsey had a great time playing and learning new things from Kaitlyn and Owen.
On Monday, July 23rd, we went to the Air and Space Museum
Then we walked across The Mall to the Natural History Museum. On The National Mall were the Aids Quilts which were amazing to see.

On Tuesday July 24th I took Kelsey to her 18th month appt. She is 24 lbs and 33 " tall. That makes her in the 55% for weight and 90% for height. She just went through a growth spurt, so that's where the height comes in. We measured her at home and it was a little shorter, so who knows exactly.
That afternoon we went to the Baltimore Aquarium. A little pricey, but alot of fun. Kelsey is still talking about the dolphins swimming and jumping.
On Wed, July 25th we went to the Baltimore Zoo. Grandpa joined us to be our tour guide since he has a membership for a day of fun! Kelsey is wearing her new giraffe dress from Kristen, and Kaitlyn also had a giraffe on her shirt.

What a wonderful visit! Thanks Risners! Come again!!! Who's next to visit and go sightseeing?

New Toys
While Daddy was away visiting his recooperating brother and very pregnant sister-in-law, Kelsey and I had a playdate with Dean and Lily and then went shopping at a wonderful kids consignment store in Mt. Airy. Unfortunately the store is 45 min. away, but don't worry, we'll be back. I found a baby changing station, a Weeble Wooble barn, and some shoes. She has had a good time playing with everything. I might have also found a "Little People" Castle that has also been a hit. Thanks Aunt Melissa for encouraging me to go to consignment stores. Mark thinks I need to stop going for a while. :-)
