Anne Arundel County Fair
Kelsey and Grandpa went to the Anne Arundel County Fair on Sept. 12th. One of the things she enjoyed the most was the duck races. Kelsey can show us how the ducks run. Someday I'll get a video of her doing it. The quilts were made by a family friend, Mrs. Droege.

Labor Day Weekend in Newburg
Mark's parents did a three day Labor Day party at their house. Our family from Florida came up for it and the girls had a great time together. Each day/night had something special. There were RV's and campers along with swimming and a pig roast. On Saturday night we did a Lantern launch in their backyard. That was an amazing experience to watch. Enjoy the pictures from the weekend.
This is nothing compared to what it actually looked like.
Grace, Kelsey, and Callie put on a show for the guests at dinner.
Grace and Kelsey each got $20 for trying an oyster from some cousins in the family. They didn't actually eat them, but they definitely put them in their mouth and tried them.

Kelsey and Sonogram Picture
Back on August 14th we showed Kelsey our first sonogram picture of the baby. At that time we thought we were 12 weeks, but we found out at that appointment that we were only 10 weeks and 5 days. We went to our next sonogram appointment at the end of September. We did not find out what we were having, so you all can be surprised with us.
Here's how Kelsey reacted to the picture.

Nebraska Trip 1
On August 7th we went to Nebraska to visit Great Grandma and the rest of the Wiechman crew. When we got to West Point Kelsey was wearing a Big Sister t-shirt. Melissa was the first to see it since Kelsey wasn't wearing it on the plane ride we were on with the Replogle's. We had a great time hanging out with the family and catching up. Great Grandma is doing great and the weather there was amazing so we had lots of time outside! Here are some pictures from our first couple of days. More to come....and I promise it won't take me another month to post them. :-)
Yes, the boys are holding an alligator in Nebraska. Only at the Cumming County Fair do they have alligators you can hold. So proud.

Breaking News......
We interrupt this family blog to announce the news that we are having a BABY! Kelsey is very excited to be a big sister. When we got to Nebraska we announced the news to the family. At that time we thought we were 12 weeks, but found out later that week that we were only a little over 10 weeks. This now makes me 19 weeks. Our due date is March 6th. More updates to come!

This one looks like the baby is smiling. We are all smiling everyday awaiting the baby's arrival.
