Day 3 San Juan, Puerto Rico

Evan got up much earlier than everyone else every morning so it was off for elevator rides and muffins at a cafe that was open 24 hours.

They had family time at at the Kid's Club so here they got to make bubbles.

At San Juan, Puerto Rico we went to Castillo San Felipe del Morro.  It was a beautiful day.

This picture doesn't even show how GORGEOUS this was.

That evening was our turn for girl's night to go dancing since the DJ was playing 80's music. Great day!!!

Day 3 Labadee, Haiti

On Monday, Feb. 8th we stopped at Labadee, Haiti where Royal Caribbean has their own island.
The kids had a great time at the beach.

Evan and Matthew loved playing the sand, along with Uncle Mike.
All smiles going back to the ship.  What a great day!!!!

When we got back we watched a Circus Parade from our deck.  Best seats in the house.

Formal night at our table.
What's better than Johnny Rocket's all you can eat fries, onion rings, burgers, and sundaes at midnight?  Nothing!!!!!

Sunday, Cruise Day 2

Evan LOVED riding the elevators on the cruise.  On the floor of all of the elevators was the day of the week.  This was very helpful especially during the middle to the end of the week when we didn't know what day it was.
At the kid's club they had family events you could do so this is of Grace doing a scavenger hunt.  We were "In it to win it!"

Hazel and Kelsey got their faces painted in kid's club.

Here is what our room looked like.  Kelsey loved sleeping in her bunk bed.  Evan loved opening and closing the shower doors.  All-in-all in the room wasn't that small.

Here is Randy and Tammie renewing their vows.  The Pastor who married them was able to come on the cruise and be there for the renewal.  Kelsey and Grace are sitting by the window next to our dinner table.  It was awesome to see the water at dinner.

Flying and Cruising

On Friday, Feb 5th we flew to Florida to spend the night before going on our first cruise to the Eastern Caribbean. We flew down with NanNan and PopPop and then met up with the rest of the family on the cruise ship on Saturday.

Left: Uncle Mike and Robin had their first drinks, and far from their last in the Windjammer (buffet restaurant).  Right: Kelsey and NanNan pose on deck 4.  So pretty!

The kids were excited to be together!

Randy, who put this cruise together for Tammie's 50th birthday just told her that they will be renewing their vows on Sunday.  She obviously didn't know.
Evan and me watching the ship start to sail away from the Florida port.

Packing Fun!

What else do you do when you have a whole week off of work from snow?  You start packing for a cruise you're taking in February.  It's not an easy thing to pack for 8 nights on a cruise ship so I started 2 weeks in advance.  Stay tuned for more pictures from our trip....
