Clark's Elioak Farm
Thursdays have turned into field trip days for the kids since Kelsey doesn't have preschool and on Tuesdays they go to a church program in the morning. On this Thursday, Sept. 24th, they went to a local "farm" that has some outdoor playplaces that were moved to the farm from "The Enchanted Forest." The kids even got to do pony rides. I believe Evan didn't "ride" the pony but just sat on it. Kelsey didn't want to ride at first and then changed her mind. The chickens even came by to get a snack from the kids. A beautiful day weather and kid wise, is what I heard. :-)

Fun and Games and Picnics!
Granpa likes to have picnics with the kids if it's outside or in our garage. The kids do enjoy playing together and are practicing taking turns. Evan likes to mimic what other people do, even reading the newspaper. Crazy how fast they are growing up.

Smiles
This has been a week of smiles, for the most part. Evan loves to be outside and wants to get the mail, which Kelsey is allowed to do. Kelsey had the "letter bucket" this week for preschool and had to find items that started with the letter "f." She decided to wear her Frozen clothes because it also started with the letter of the week. On Wednesday since I was off of work I took the kids to take Mark out to lunch and see his work. Fun times all around!
Anne Arundel County Fair
On Sept. 17th Granpa took the kids to the Anne Arundel County Fair. They got to see animals and pig races. Kelsey was chosen to be a cheerleader for one of the pigs that was racing. She was excited because she got to stand beyond the rope where no one else was allowed to go. Thanks Granpa!!!
Swinging
Mark used to do this with Kelsey, but she's getting a little big, so it's Evan's turn. Enjoy Evan swinging, inside the house.

Measuring Up
Evan turned 18 months so it was time to measure him on the wall since that's when we measured Kelsey first. He is 31 and a half inches. Kelsey was 30 and a half at 18 months. At Evan's 18 month check up the doctor told us he was in the 80th percentile on height. They also measured him as over 33 inches, so I'm not sure that is correct. We do love his "Oh My!"

Hot Day Fun!
What do you do when it's 90 something degrees for the 5th day in a row? You go to Cracker Barrel and the mall play area. Granpa took them last week where the kids enjoyed the outside rocking chairs. While there they ran into our old neighbors from growing up, the Todds. They babysat me and Melissa when we were little.
What other mall has their state flower in their play area? The kids loved the lego store and Doggie even got to visit the fish at Bass Pro Shop. What a fun day!!!
