Florida Trip part 1

On May 20th we flew to Florida to spend some time with the family.  As always we had an awesome time.  On Thursday Mark and I watched Evan and Matthew while Kelsey and Hazel had some time with Grandma Wendy at the wildlife preserves.  On Friday Jenelle took off work and Grace stayed home so we could go to Lion Country Safari.  That place was amazing!!!  It started with an hour and half drive around an outdoor safari where the animals roam free, literally right by the car.  There were a gazillion zebras and the giraffes up close were awesome!!!!  After driving through the kids were getting hungry so we ate lunch in the car right next to the giraffes.  In the park area there was a splash park where the kids got to play until there was lightning sighted and then it rained. Oh well, a fun time was had by all!

Kelsey got to feed a giraffe!

Fun Days with Granpa from April

Granpa is always doing fun things with the kids.  I love coming home and finding the pictures on the camera. I skipped over these apparently back in April.  Enjoy!

Mark's Reunion Baseball Game

On Saturday, May 16th Mark got to play in his high school baseball reunion game.  It had been a while since he had played, two years to be exact.  It was a hot day so we set up an umbrella to keep cool.  Mark had two walks, one out, and got hit by a ball to get a walk.  Good job Mark!

Preschool and Owen

How might you ask do Preschool and Owen go into one post, well one of the busiest days of the year is how.  On May 5th I went to work, Kelsey went to the Kids of the Kingdom program with Granpa and then I came home at lunch to volunteer with Kelsey at preschool.  So, off we went to preschool where I got to write out certificates for all of the students and create bags with the kids for their Father's Day gifts.  After preschool we hung out at home before taking Kelsey to swim lessons where I babysat Owen and Evan with Mark while Meghan did lessons with Kelsey.  Then I was off to a meeting at church.  And that's how preschool and Owen go together. Enjoy!

 Love him!!!!

Happy Mother's Day!

Today was a wonderful Mother's Day with Kelsey singing at church, releasing the butterflies we raised, getting to take a nap, playing with the kids, and enjoying the beautiful outside in the evening with having dinner with my parents.  Oh, did I mention the Blizzard cake?  So good!  Great day!

The video is of Kelsey singing one of her songs from church after dinner.  It's a good thing the other choir members were at church since she didn't remember all of the words.  Also, I need to talk to her choir director on how she spells mommy.  Enjoy!

The pictures below were taken by Kelsey, enjoy!

Evan and Mashed Potatoes

Evan loves his food.  I mean LOVES his food.  We give him silverware to slow him down.  It's been working and he's been getting better at it.  Mashed potatoes are great because they won't fall out of the bowl, as shown in the video below.  Enjoy!

Grandma's Craft Fair

On April 18th Grandma did a craft fair at the Odenton Fire Station.  I told as many friends as I could to go by and visit and she did alright.  Kelsey and I went early to help her set-up and to clean-up at the end.  We're looking into starting her own Facebook page since she sold 3 items from me posting her things on Facebook that day.  Please feel free to inquire about items at any time.  Here are some things that she has.

Kelsey is modeling one of Grandma's aprons.  Fabrics to choose from are found below for girls and boys.
