Waiting to get pictures taken. Hopefully this is a better experience than we've had in the past.

Is Evan Going to Walk??
We work with Evan to try walking but he is very stubborn and enjoys crawling. Enjoy the videos from this evening as we get him to at least stand on his own. He was in a silly mood so it wasn't easy. Kelsey has been a big help encouraging and playing with him. We'll probably stick with the walker for now.

More Snow
It's been a very cold winter and along with that we've had a little snow here and there. This past Saturday we got about 5 inches plus a little extra with freezing rain. Sunday was very warm, meaning temperatures around 50 degrees. We got Evan in his snow pants and he "played" in the snow for about 20 minutes. He loves to crawl so it wasn't as fun for him, but he did enjoy sitting and eating the snow. It's been fun but I'm totally ready for spring to come.

Snow Fun on February 17th
I've had only two days off this year due to weather, but lots of two-hour late starts. One day was from ice and one we actually got snow (February 17). Kelsey was excited to have Emily come over to play in the snow. The girls play for over an hour outside and then played inside. Kelsey loves being out in the snow, but Evan's not so sure. This was our first actual snow to have Evan out in it. He had just woken up from a nap and was ready for lunch when I got him in his snowpants and took him outside. He was all smiles until I set him in the snow to take a picture. I think he lasted 2 minutes. Maybe he'll like it next year.

From the Granpa Camera
Granpa uses our old camera to take pictures of the kids when he has a moment. They go to library programs, church programs, restaurants, and even the grocery store. Enjoy some pictures from the Granpa Camera.
I believe these are from Evan at a mall play area.
Yes, that's Evan standing on the stool at the counter and Kelsey on the island. I find a lot of interesting pictures on the camera. :-)
Their favorite place to go eat is Cracker Barrel.
This cart has been Kelsey's favorite for so long at Food Lion. It's great that Evan is now big enough to sit in there with her. Thanks Granpa for picking up groceries!!!
These are from play-day at the New Carrollton library.
Evan loves to wave "Hello" and "Good-bye" or just for the fun of it at the table. Grandma and Granpa had the kids at their house all day on Friday so that we could have friends over for dinner. Looks like they had a good time reading and getting into things.

President's Day Weekend part 2
So, Aunt Jenelle's sister, Aunt Karlee, had baby Karson on February 12th at 3:03 a.m. We had been awaiting his arrival for a while. Aunt Jenelle's plan was to fly up and surprise her sister. Jenelle called a few weeks ago and mentioned she wanted to surprise Grace as well and bring her along. We kept this from Kelsey to surprise her. Surprises all around! They flew up Friday evening along with Jenelle's dad Duane. They went straight to the hospital late Friday night while we kept Grace and brought everyone else up Saturday.
On Saturday we went to NanNan and PopPop's, the hospital, and Randy and Tammies. While we were at Randy and Tammies we decided to send the kids back with NanNan and PopPop so Mark, Jenelle, and I could have an adult wine tasting evening. We didn't realize it had snowed 2-3 inches while we were making these plans. PopPop loaded up the car with the three grandchildren and NanNan and off they went into the windy snowy night. They made it safely and had a wonderful evening camping out on the floor, even though there was a bed right there. Evan even slept until 9 a.m. the next morning. I enjoyed my first night away from both kids. It was weird to wake up and not have to make breakfast for the little ones. Thanks Randy and Tammie for hosting us and NanNan and PopPop for watching the kids, not that we gave you all much choice. :-)
On Sunday we went to get the kids, rested, and then went back up to see cousin Karson who had been released from the hospital that day. Mark and Evan drove NanNan back to Maryland to the airport since she was going to FL to babysit the kids while Jenelle's parents are up in PA helping with the new baby. We spent all of Sunday afternoon into the evening with Jenelle's family and then headed back to Maryland late to be here for them to go to the airport on Monday. The cool thing Grace's birthday was Monday so we got to be with her. Kelsey and Grace had a wonderful time and we can't wait to see them again!!! What a wonderful weekend!

President's Day Weekend part 1
This weekend was packed with a newborn baby (Karson), Aunt Jenelle and Grace visiting, Valentine's Day, remembering Daniel, wine at Randy and Tammie's, NanNan and PopPop, Karson's family, and Grace's 8th birthday. Not too mention snow. These pictures are from my phone and are probably not in the right order. More pictures to follow from my camera.
