Christmas Eve to Christmas Morning

This Christmas we are going to be able to be with both sets of cousins during the week of Christmas.  We started off in PA with Mark's family from Florida.  Then, we'll get to see the family from North Carolina on Monday.  We hope everyone had a fun filled blessed Christmas!

 Aren't they adorable????

Can't go to bed until PopPop reads The Night Before Christmas.
Gotta taste the sugar cookies before Santa does.

 Paw Patrol for everyone!!!!

More Videos

What do you do when you have 6 kids and a plastic car after Thanksgiving dinner?  You go outside and let the kids ride in the car down the driveway of course.  We had to hold our breath to make sure Nathan would fit in the car, but Shawn and Melissa made sure it would happen.  So fun!

Videos

Here are some videos of Evan going into Snowflake's cage while we were in NC and of Kelsey pushing Evan around in the "rocket ship."  Gotta love diaper boxes.

Santa Claus

We took the kids to see Santa Claus on Tuesday evening. It's a great time to go.  There was no one there so we got to spend some time talking with Santa and getting some great pictures. Santa asked Kelsey about Doggie, who she dressed up and got to take with us in the stroller.  Evan was fine until we put him on Santa's lap.  Afterward we went to dinner at the food court. It had little tables for the kids so they had dinner together, which was adorable.  Kelsey said it was "the best night ever!"

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas....

Kelsey was super excited to start decorating for Christmas.  She loved choosing the ornaments and talking about where they came from.  Mark put up the lights on the house and the kids loved them.  Evan loves seeing lights when we go driving.

A North Carolina Thanksgiving

We came down to North Carolina on Wednesday, November 25th which happens to be Melissa's birthday!!!  It was fun to celebrate and be together.  On Thursday we went to Golden Coral for lunch since we weren't having our Thanksgiving dinner until Friday due to family friends working on Thanksgiving.  Shawn was off both days which was very helpful since Melissa and I went shopping Thursday night.  The kids had a wonderful time playing together and the weather was gorgeous reaching around 70 each day that they got to play outside.  Evan at first wasn't sure about Snowflake, the dog, but he absolutely loves her now and they are best buds.  So much he likes going into her crate to play...see way below.

Preschool Thanksgiving

Kelsey's preschool had a Thanksgiving presentation and snack.  I surprised Kelsey by coming to see it.  Grandpa was there with Evan as well.  Super cute!

This year                                                                                                           Last Year

I love that she is looking right at the camera even in the back row.  I missed everyone smiling forward.

Evan loves Kelsey's Elsa doll.  His friend Xander loves it as well even after falling down.  Enjoy....

Annapolis Mall

Granpa took the kids to Annapolis Mall to the play area and then out to lunch at Red Robin last Thursday, November 19th.  I believe everyone had a good time.  See for yourself from their smiles.

A Visit from Hazel

Hazel came up north with Grandma Wendy to visit. We got to spend some time with them before their flight back. The girls played and Evan tried to get involved. He even asked for a dress, but didn't get the chance to try one on since the girls were so busy. It was great to see them!!!

Disney on Ice

On Friday, October 30 I took Kelsey to see Disney on Ice in Baltimore for a mommy-daughter date night. I found discount tickets on the website Certifikid, if you haven't checked it out you should. We had great seats and a wonderful time. She loved Anna and Elsa and I loved the 20 plus genies skating around. Of course we had our icy treat with a take home cup. Who's in for going to the next one or maybe the circus? She can't wait for either!
