Evan's First Teeth

After months and months of drooling and chewing it has finally happened. Evan's first teeth broke through.  Both of his bottom two teeth have started to surface.  Looking at him the one of the left is a little higher than the one on the right.  This might be why he has had a lot poopy diapers.  We're not sure if his fever and hives have anything to do with it, but it's not helping that it's all happening at the same time.  Or maybe it is that he's just miserable all at one time.  His fever seems to be staying low and the hives are not as prominent.  We're still not sure of the cause, but it's definitely weird to see hives appear and then disappear all over his body.

Busy Day for Mommy

Today I got the chance to go to Kelsey's preschool to volunteer and then be there for their Thanksgiving  party. I had a wonderful time even though the brownies I brought got smushed on the way and I forgot Kelsey's book bag. Kelsey's teachers are awesome and amazing with 18 the year olds.

Then I came home and found Evan with a rash, that looked like hives and moved around, and a slight fever. After calling a nurse I took him to a walk-in office and they determined he was having an allergic reaction, ear infection, and possible fever from when Kelsey was sick. He's handling it all very well so far.

Evan and Matthew

Aunt Jenelle and cousin Matthew came to visit for aunt Karlee's surprise baby shower. The boys had a lot of playtime together. Matthew is crawling and climbing up on things and Evan is not, yay! Can't wait to see Matthew walk in a month. :)

Bathrobe Fun

I was given this bathrobe from one of my students last year when I came back from maternity leave. He's too cute!

Trinity's Birthday Party

Kelsey's best friend, Trinity, from preschool had her birthday party today. Cinderella was invited and took pictures with all of the kids. Kelsey wants to have a Ball for her birthday party and has mentioned inviting Cinderella because Trinity was having her. Today as we left
She said "Goodbye Cinderella, see you in Disney World." Not sure when that will happen but at least she didn't invite her to her party.

Happy Halloween

I've been sick since Halloween so I haven't been up to posting.  So, here it finally is.  We were fortunate to have Uncle George and Aunt Connie join us as well as our friends from church.  Kelsey and Zeke had a great time trick-or-treating together while Xander and Evan rode around in their strollers.  The night was a bit chilly, but tolerable.  Kelsey had a white sweatshirt under her costume to keep her warm.  As always, a good time was had by all!

This is Kelsey next to the Shaeffers pumpkins.

Zeke wanted to be the moon, so the family dressed as the cow, dish, and the spoon.  So cute!
