NanNan Visits

NanNan finally got to come down to visit since it decided to not snow last week. On February 18th,  Kelsey dressed up in her Snow White outfit and had some tea with NanNan.  The close-up picture of Kelsey is called her "Kelsey Face."  You might be seeing more of that. 

2 Weeks to Go

When I was 38 weeks, which was Thursday, February 20th, I took pictures with Kelsey to show how I look.  I feel good, just ready to meet this little one.  Kelsey and I talk everyday how excited we are to meet this little one and I just can't wait to find out if it is a boy or girl.  We'll keep you posted on anything new going on.

Chef Kelsey

During our snow days Kelsey and I made chocolate banana bread.  She even let me put her hair in pig tails, which is a big step since she doesn't like having her hair done.  With going to the gym she has opened up to having ponytails and pig tails.  Now if I could just teach Daddy and Granpa how to do them. :-)

Valentine's Day, Olympics, and SNOW!!!

The important word in the title is SNOW.  I have been blessed with a 5 day weekend to relax with Kelsey and prepare for the baby.  During our time we have watched the Olympics and played in the snow.  Kelsey's favorite event is figure skating.  In the video you'll see that she likes to dance around like she's an ice skater.  We'll have figure skating on our DVR for a while.  As for the snow, we got 9 inches one night and 2 more added the next morning.  Kelsey loved playing in the snow and got to make a snowman with Mark and play with Emily.

Kelsey and Xavier

On Feb. 1st Bekah, Ryan, and Xavier came over for dinner and to exchange presents from Christmas, Birthday, and Baby coming.  We had a wonderful time visiting and catching up.  Xavier, 10, was amazing with Kelsey by playing and reading with her. Kelsey asked Xavier to sit next to her at dinner, see below.  The two went up to her room for 45 min. to play and read books after dinner.  When we went up to put Kelsey to bed we found all of her books pulled off of her book shelf and on the floor.  They definitely had a good time.  Thanks guys!!!

Hair Cut and Game

Last Sunday, Feb. 2nd, I took Kelsey to get a fresh hair cut.  When she was home she got to play her new Cinderella game.  Bekah found this for her birthday.  She loves it because it's all of the characters dancing at the Royal Ball, which is Kelsey's favorite part of the movie. 

4 Weeks, more or less

We are preparing as best we can for our little one to arrive.  On Feb. 6th I was 4 weeks, more or less, away.  I'm feeling good, just tired at night and my legs and back give me issues from time to time.  Kelsey is getting more and more excited and can't wait to meet the baby.  I can't wait to find out if it's a boy or girl so I could have the clothes ready, but we made it this long not knowing I can go a few more weeks.
