Visiting North Carolina 2

Kelsey loves to play in a big bed and hide under the covers. Nathan enjoyed playing along. Earlier that day we met Melissa, Nathan, and their neighbors Miss Jessica, Scarlet, and Savannah for lunch and playtime at the playground.

Visiting North Carolina

Meghan and I did our annual summer trip to North Carolina with Kelsey. The cousins had a great time playing together. Melissa and Nathan went to their VBS every morning and Meghan and I helped out with Kristen. We introduced Kelsey to icy pops and now it's her favorite dessert.  Nathan and Kelsey always chose the same color. Kristen's favorite pastime is to put her shoes on her hands and crawl around, simply hilarious!

Emily's softball game

Kelsey and I went to Emily's softball game on Saturday, June 16th. It was a gorgeous day and Kelsey was super good, even though she didn't watch most of the game. Emily's team did win, 4-3, yay!!!

Chuck E. Cheese

My school had another school fundraiser at Chuck E. Cheese.  Kelsey loved riding the rides most of all. A good time was had by all.

Adventures with Grandpa

Kelsey and Grandpa have been going lots of fun places like Watkins Park and the Baltimore Zoo. Here are some pictures from their adventures.

Basement, so far

Mark had this great idea that he would tear down one of the bedrooms in the basement and build a bar/hang out area.  He went down one night in February and pulled up some of the carpet and has been working on it ever since.  He put up a plastic wall up so Kelsey could still play while he worked. It's now down and all of the toys are upstairs. We are all impressed by his skills and it will be fantastic when it is completed.

Shaeffer's Pool

We got to go over to the Shaeffer's pool on June 2nd. Kelsey loves the pool, especially since her swim lessons.  Pictured is her in the same raft 2 years ago. 

Park Playdate

During Sunday School Kelsey goes to a story time group of kids who are under 3.  We had a playdate, June 1, at a park and the kids had a great time. It was a super hot day, but the kids had a blast!  Kelsey loved climbing this spiral ladder. Next to Kelsey is Josie, almost 3, and then Zeke, 2 1/2.  Kelsey's hat was made by Grandma. If anyone is interested in one, let me know. :-)
