Go Phillies!

NanNan and PopPop came to town and we took Kelsey to her first Phillies game of the season.  The way they were playing it might be her last.  We had a great time, but it would've been better if they won.  Kelsey was very well behaved with snacks and stickers.  That's what you're supposed to do at a ballgame right, stickers?

Second Haircut

On Saturday NanNan and I took Kelsey to get her second official haircut.  I've cut her bangs a couple of times, but this time wanted someone professional.  We went back to the place we went the first time, Snip-its, because they are so kid friendly and I had a coupon. :-)  Kelsey was excited, but then cried when the hair stylist, Karen, put her in the chair.  Karen was great to give Kelsey a funny bubble container which kept Kelsey happy and busy while she cut her hair.  Kelsey was given 2 lollipops before she left and got to go to the prize machine where she got a ring.

Fun in May

Kelsey has been having alot of fun this May. Our friend Donald came to visit for my career day at school.  He talked about being in pest control, the kids love it even Kelsey who learned about the different bugs.  Kelsey taught him about the book "The Grouchy Ladybug."

Grandpa found a painting book for Kelsey.  I love that he uses a bib for her so she doesn't get her clothes messy.  Kelsey stands at the island so much that the step-stool is always there now.  Thanks Grandpa!

 

Here is Kelsey checking on her tadpoles.  A coworker of Mark's brought some to work for us to have.  Not exactly sure what we are going to do when they start growing their legs, but for now they just swim around and eat boiled lettuce. 

 

 

Meghan Comes to Visit

Godmommy Meghan came to stay with us for a weekend while goddaddy Dan was away.  She came to church with us and enjoyed playing all weekend.   Kelsey got to help Mommy clean the kitchen.  She loves to dust and clean off counters, it's great!!!

Baby Amelia

We are so happy for the Kobrin Family who welcomed Amelia Noelle on Friday May 10th.  We were able to visit on May 16th.  Amelia is definitely a Kobrin with the dark hair and dark eyes. Kelsey loved meeting Amelia and has renamed one of her babies Amelia.  She's been doing that when a new baby comes into our lives, which has been very often.  Baby Madden, once Sarah is her other favorite right now.

The happy family.  We went back that weekend to bring some clothes for them to borrow.  Can't wait to go back!!!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!!!  Mark and Kelsey had a good time playing around before we went out to dinner at Gordon Biersch. 

 

Mother's Day

I had a delightful Mother's Day.  It started with Mark and Kelsey making me waffles before church and then Grandma and Grandpa came over for dinner that Mark made. A great time was had by all!

Reunion Game

Last weekend we went to Shippensburg for Mark to play in his high school reunion game.  He hasn't played in 7 years, but did a great job.  Kelsey enjoyed getting her face painted for the first time and playing around with the other players' kids.
