Merry Christmas!

On Christmas Eve Kelsey and I went to her godparents house for lunch and presents before picking Mark up from work and driving to PA.  We got to have dinner with the family which included Mark's Uncle Mike and Aunt Lori in town from Tonga.  After dinner we went to church to listen to NanNan play the bells and PopPop sing in the choir.  PopPop read the night before Christmas and she put out cookies and milk for Santa Claus. She opened her one present, which was jammies, and went to bed. Santa brought exactly what Kelsey had asked for: a Minnie Mouse guitar and microphone.  Thanks to all who made Christmas oh so special this year!

We Google chatted with the Smith Family in Florida (see above) all morning so we all could see how the kids were doing opening their presents.  Grace made the Cinderella shirt (below left) for Kelsey. A big box was brought back from Florida in NanNan and PopPop's car when they went down for Thanksgiving.  I hadn't given it much thought until Kelsey was about to open it.  As you can see the box was bigger than Kelsey since you can't even see her opening it (below right).  Then it hit me as to what it was.....

Yes the doll is a little taller than Kelsey.  She loved playing with her and dancing around the room.  Thanks Florida Family for the wonderful gift.  Aunt Robin is looking into that drum set for the new nephew to come. :-)

November Review 2

On Nov. 23rd Kelsey started to write to Santa to tell him what she wanted.  She has wanted a Minnie Mouse guitar because her friend Dean had a Mickey Mouse one.  We'll see if Santa comes through with this on Wed. morning.

We had a Kelsey and Mommy Day on Nov. 26th where we listened to the radio and danced.  Here's a little sneak peak on our fun!

For Thanksgiving we went to North Carolina.  Mark had quality time with the kids, Melissa and I did lots of shopping and we all enjoyed yummy food cooked by Grandma.

November Review 1

I'm playing catch up so here is November.....

November 1st Kelsey went to see Cinderella the play with Grandpa, NanNan, and Jari.  She sat for the hour performance and continues to talk about it.

Kelsey got to go down to visit her cousins in North Carolina from Nov. 4th - 8th with Grandma and Grandpa.

On Nov. 17th I cut Kelsey's bangs. Her reward for sitting still is a lolly pop.  Look what happens when she gets a blue one....

NanNan came to visit and we took Kelsey to see Santa Claus. She did great! And she even asked for a piano for Doggie to play.

Towson's Homecoming

On October 12th was Towson's Homecoming.  We always go to tailgate and hang out with friends.  Mark stayed to watch the game, but Kelsey and I went home.  The night before the game Kelsey spent the night at godmommy Meghan's and goddaddy Dan's house where she got to make Meghan's famous pumpkin muffins.  If only Kelsey could remember the recipe so we could make them at home.  Meghan and Dan thought of the TU picture below, which is a new sign Towson has.
Thanks Meghan and Dan!!!

Nathan's 5th Birthday

Kelsey went down to North Carolina with Grandma and Grandpa for a few extra days of cousin time before Nathan's 5th birthday.  Mark and I drove down for the weekend and enjoyed Nathan's birthday party at an indoor bounce house.  The kids had a great time playing together.

Anne Arundel County Fair

Kelsey and Grandpa went to the Anne Arundel County Fair on Sept. 12th.  One of the things she enjoyed the most was the duck races. Kelsey can show us how the ducks run. Someday I'll get a video of her doing it.  The quilts were made by a family friend, Mrs. Droege.

Baltimore Zoo

On September 9th Grandpa and Kelsey went to their favorite place, the Baltimore Zoo.  Kelsey loves the huge slide, lily pads, and the carousel. Oh yea, and her favorite animal the giraffes.
