A Visit to NC

Back on July 9th Kelsey, Godmommy Meghan, and I drove down to NC to visit the family. Melissa was able to go and teach at her church's VBS with Nathan while Megan and I watched Kelsey and Kristen. We had a great time, as usual, and enjoyed watching the cousins playing together.

18 Months

Kelsey turned 18 months on July 21st. She tries to repeat everything I say. We have been having a very busy summer, more pictures to come. Her baby is her favorite toy and with the new baby changing/bathtub station I got for her she is always busy. She is now into wooden puzzles and loves a shape one that we are borrowing from Nathan, thanks!!!

Kelsey picks up anything and starts "reading" it. I was cleaning through some files and Kelsey would take the empty files and "read" it.

I cut my hair and am donating 9 inches to Pantene's Great Lengths program. As you can see, Kelsey is into sandwiches for lunch. She loves bread, and we mean love it!

Camp Newburg

After the week at our house Kelsey and Grace went to NanNan and PopPop's in PA to Camp Newburg. With reservations, we sent Kelsey up without us for 4 days. Mommy was very nervous about Kelsey wanting Mommy and Daddy and being sad. Luckily, that never happened and she had a blast. Next year, 2 weeks at Camp Newburg!

We joined in the fun for a few days ourselves. We love Camp Newburg!

Camp Newburg was awesome! The girls had so much to do: swings, playhouse, bounce house, and a pool. Yes, I said bounce house. It can travel so I'm sure you'll see it at our house in the future. Thanks NanNan and PopPop for the great time!

Cousin Grace at our House

We got to enjoy having Cousin Grace stay at our house for a week after going to the beach. The girls had a blast playing together. Grace is getting a baby sister in August, so this was good practice for her. I took her to vacation bible school with me everyday where she enjoyed being with other kids and learning new songs.

Did I mention they did everything together? As you can see, everything. Thanks Grace for coming to stay with us and having such a good time. Kelsey misses you!

Beach Weekend (It's a long post)

We were invited to the Bosler Beach House in Fenwick Island, DE. Cousin Grace is visiting from Florida while her daddy gets better from his pancreas problems, and her mommy gets ready for the new baby in August. We had a great time going to the beach and the pool while we were there. Thanks Boslers for a fantastic weekend! We'll miss the beach house, but will enjoy visiting you in Florida!

We got there Friday night, June 22nd, which was Chad and Jenelle's Anniversary. We felt it was right to all be together, even though they weren't with us. There was alot of reading going on. The girls found out they had matching pajamas and had to wear them all weekend together.

On Saturday we hit the beach where the waves were at high tide so we didn't go into the ocean very far. Kelsey loved playing in the sand. Here are the girls cheesing while in the back of the car.

NanNan and PopPop were there too!

Wendy and Duane were are gracious hosts.

The girls wore their matching dresses from Greece. Aunt Karlee came up to hang out on Saturday.

On Sunday, June 24th, we went back to the beach where we met up with Kelsey's friend Lily. Her parents had a wonderful set up with a mini pool, which the girls took total advantage of.
