On Wed. March 28th Melissa and Shawn welcomed Kristen Emma into the world at 7lbs 15 oz. 20.5 inches long. She and mommy are now at home. Unfortunately, we haven't gone to see them yet, but soon, very soon! Here are some pictures we took from their blog, thanks Shawn! We can't wait to meet Kristen in person!!!

Kelsey and Jack
We had a playdate with baby Jack, 9 months, on March 4. They played very well together. He's not crawling yet, and Kelsey was trying to get him to walk. Kelsey enjoyed seeing their dog Friday again. We can't wait to play again together soon.

Kelsey Loves Clothes
Kelsey's favorite thing to have is an article of clothing, anyone's clothing, any article. With that being said, when we got a tub of clothes from Cousin Grace to look through, Kelsey was thrilled to help. While Mommy tried to separate the different sizes Kelsey made a mess. Thanks for the clothes for Kelsey to borrow. As you can see, she loves them.
To get the clothes there were a few hands involved in getting them to us. Thanks Aunt Linda for helping out and for spending time with Kelsey and Grandpa.

First day of Spring = Trip to the Zoo
Cousin Nathan is visiting Grandma and Grandpa this week to give Aunt Melissa some resting time before the baby comes next week. We are all so excited! Grandpa took both Kelsey and Nathan to the Baltimore Zoo today. What a wonderful way to spend the first day of Spring.
A train ride with Grandpa makes everyone happy!
A short break for lunch, and then they were off again.
What doesn't finish off a day better than swinging in the backyard?

Happy St. Paddy's Day from Cutie McPierson
A year ago we were in Florida visiting the family and going to see baseball games. This year we are at home enjoying the weather that makes us feel like we are in Florida. Kelsey continues to be very active walking everywhere and getting into everything. She is communicating very well using signs and words when she can. She is currently 21 lbs. We know this because Mark took her to the pediatrician the other day due to her having a skin infection under her eyelid. She is doing well and takes her eye drops like a 1 year old. Here you can see how she has changed from a year ago to today. Happy St. Paddy's Day!!!

North Carolina Day 2 and 3
I just realized I haven't blogged in a while and that I didn't even finish our trip to NC. Enjoy! More recent pics to come soon!
Shawn is totally ready to a baby girl.
Nathan got this kitchen from Santa Claus, aka Black Friday find, and Kelsey loves playing in it. Guess Santa will have to bring one to Maryland next Christmas. Hope Walmart has it on Black Friday sale again. :-)
I thought the weekend would be stairs free being at Melissa's where they don't have stairs. Leave it to Kelsey to find the stool to practice her stair climbing.
Aunt Melissa on the phone calling Kelsey. See that belly! Can't wait for the new baby to come!!
Wouldn't you know it that is snowed while we were there. Being the best mommy Melissa took Nathan out in it first thing in the morning before it would melt. They lasted 24 min, it was so cold!
Mark and I enjoyed holding 3 month old Isabella.
Kelsey enjoyed seeing a baby. It was like having one of her doll babies around.
