We had the pleasure of spending time with Uncle George and Aunt Connie from Colorado the weekend of Dec. 15th. Melissa brought Nathan and Kristen up to see them. The kids enjoyed reading books with Uncle George and playing with Aunt Connie.
We tried to get a picture with the three kids. It was super funny. Especially when we decided to give them props of a tea kettle and cups. Kristen was a trooper while the other two moved around.

Christmas Time
During this December, Kelsey has gotten to into the Christmas spirit. Last year godmommy Meghan gave her a magnetic nativity scene. She absolutely loves it. We read the book "In a Stable" from Aunt Nell Nell to recreate the story.
We thought Kelsey would like to help decorate the Christmas tree but, not so much. She enjoyed playing with the ornaments and containers while we decorated, or shall I say NanNan decorated. Kelsey was excited to help put the star on the top, but it drooped so they tried again and magic!
This beautiful picture was taken at Aunt Tammie and Uncle Randy's Christmas party. What a perfect moment.

Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to all! We had a wonderful Christmas up in Newburg, PA with NanNan and PopPop. Kelsey had a fever and a cough over the weekend so we started our trip a little late. We made it to Christmas Eve service and PopPop read "The Night Before Christmas" before she went to bed. On Christmas Day we were busy with Skyping with Florida a few times and having Grandma and Grandpa join us to open presents Christmas night. Thank you to all who made this a wonderful holiday for our family!
Santa brought Kelsey an easel and puzzles with Cinderella wrapping paper.
Kelsey got 2 baby dolls: Mary (left) from NanNan and Nancy (right) from Grandma. The blanket was made by Aunt Tammie and the hat by Great Aunt Marie. She loves them all!!!!

Craft fair, Walking Light Trail, and Christmas Lights
On December 1 Grandma had a booth at a craft fair to sell her crafty baby and toddler items. Kelsey had a good time hanging out showing off her hat that Grandma made. That night she went on a walking light tour with Grandpa. She wasn't a huge fan of it because it was pretty dark, but she does love lights on houses.
Mark put the Christmas light ups on our house. We were very excited to see Kelsey's reaction. She did not like them and asked us to turn them off. After some time she has now warmed up to them and likes them. Yay! Great job Mark!

Thanksgiving
Sorry for the late post. We got a message about our blogspot account being out of storage space. We are figuring out the problem and hope I can keep blogging for free. For Thanksgiving we went down to NC. Kelsey and Nathan had a blast playing together and Kristen is the happiest baby. I can't wait to see her running around with Kelsey and Nathan next year. We had a wonderful time!

Brushing Teeth
Kelsey enjoys brushing her teeth every night. The first routine was to put her robe on after bath time and then to sit on the sink and brush her teeth. She's so into her robe now that she puts it on every night before bed even if she has a bath or not. It's crazy how kids get into a specific routine.

Visits
Alright, we finally enter November pictures. Kelsey got the oppportunities to visit with Aunt Jari and godmommy Meghan and goddaddy Dan. Aunt Jari was at Grandma's house and a lunch date at Red Robin Meghan and Dan. Kelsey is great to take to restaurants. We didn't really take her much whens he was a baby, but now she is a champ and loves "going out to dinner."

Hurricane Sandy
On October 29th and 30th Hurricane Sandy came to visit the East Coast. I did not have school those days and Mark stayed home for a day and a half. Kelsey and I had pajama days and enjoyed our time together. Luckily we did not lose power and stayed safe.
This is Kelsey modeling her coat Grandma made her. She absolutely loves it and only wants to wear this coat at all times. Thanks Grandma!!!

First Hair Cut
Yesterday, Kelsey had a playdate with her friend Ben, 3 1/2, at MyGym. It's an indoor Gym for kids. We signed Kelsey up for classes so she has a chance to be with other kids in a routine class. They just opened and had a free open house for two weeks. Kelsey went so many times the workers already know her name. After lunch with Ben and Sean we went to get Kelsey's first hair cut. She was very patient and sat still the whole time. We had been talking to her about it for a couple of weeks so she knew what to expect. Its' a cute little bob haircut that will help her hair grow straight.
Ben and Kelsey loved the ball pit.

Carving Pumpkins
One day I'll catch up on my blogging. On Oct. 27th we babysat my teammates 3 kids for a few hours. I've known these kids for 7 years and they are wonderful! Kailyn, 12, Emily 10, and Luke 5 almost 6. They had a great time playing with Kelsey and the Wii. :-) The next day we went to the annual Farley Pumpkin Carving. Jack, 17 months was an adorable dragon. Kelsey and Jack played well together. Did I mention this was the Sunday before the hurricane came. Good times!
