Go Phillies!

The weekend of August 20th NanNan, PopPop, and Cousin Rob came down to go to Phillies vs. Nationals games.  Cousin Rob doesn't miss an opportunity to see the Phillies play.  Unfortunately, Kelsey didn't get to go to any games, but that didn't stop us from putting her in her Phillies outfits all weekend.  Aunt Melissa and Cousin Nathan stopped in Maryland on their way back to NC from Nebraska.  Another fun family weekend!

Tried sippy cup, not a fan, likes plastic cup better.

Last Day in Nebraska

Our time in Nebraska was very short.  Lots of pictures and family though.  Cousin Erin and her girls, Isabelle and Sarah, were there from Colorado.  Kelsey loved watching and playing with the girls.  We miss them so much and wish we lived closer to play with them all the time.

Sunday, August 14th was our last day spending time with family.  We got to see the Cuming County  Fair Parade that evening.  It was long and had lots of tractors and candy for the kids.  Grandpa took Kelsey for a walk so Mark and I had fun with Sarah, Isabelle, and Nathan.  Thanks everyone for a great time in the Midwest and we can't wait to do it again next year when Kelsey is running around, yikes!

It's okay, the Phillies weren't playing that day.  Thanks GREAT Uncle George for the outfit.

All lined up enjoying the parade

Waiting for more candy to be given out.

Love kisses from Sarah

Family Reunion

The reason we go to visit Grandma in August is for the Raabe Family Reunion. They have it the second Saturday in August because the Cuming County Fair is going on. Kelsey got to meet her "twin" that day. My mom's couin's daughter Kelly, you got that right, had a baby the same day Kelsey was born. We laughed about it last year that we were pregnant the same month, let alone both having the baby the same day. Levi and Kelsey got along just fine and enjoyed having another baby around to play with. That evening we had a dinner with the Wiechman's where Kelsey met more family. Enjoy the pictures, there's alot of them!

This is where we stood last year when we were both pregnant.

GREAT Uncle George from Colorado. He'll take you on long hikes up the mountains.

More Fun in Nebraska

On August 12, Kelsey had a very busy day.  She got to meet GREAT Aunt Marie, the Holle's, and some  farm animals.  Daddy got to show her the baseball field and while at the fair that day Nathan went on some rides.  Maybe next year Kelsey will get to go on the rides with Nathan.

Motorcycle for 3rd birthday?

That is a really big horse!

 What a great day!!!!

Nebraska

Kelsey met her GREAT Aunt Karen, from Chicago, while in Nebraska.

Nathan found his favorite part of the trip, the hotel pool.  He went at least once a day, if not twice.  Thanks Horizon Inn for putting a pool just for Nathan!
Great Grandma got Nathan some new trucks and Kelsey a new dress.  They both loved what they got.  Thanks Aunt Marie for helping pick it out!

This is a very rare "swing" that is at Neligh Park in West Point.  Melissa and I grew up swinging on this two headed horse and just had to get our kids on it too.  I was a bit nervous holding Kelsey.  It is very wobbly up there.  Nathan was a little more steady.

Kelsey got quality time with Aunt Melissa and Uncle Shawn while out there. It was so nice to spend the week together.
Where else can you stand nex to a painted cow?  Yay for the Cuming County Fair in West Point, NE!!!!

Plane ride to see Great Grandma

Sooo.....back on August 10th Mark, Grandpa, and I flew with Kelsey out to Nebraska for a family reunion.  Kelsey got to meet lots of family members.  We had a great time.  The upcoming posts will be pictures of our time there.  We miss everyone so much!

Our flight leaving BWI got delayed so we went to the observation deck to let Kelsey stretch her legs before going through security and getting on the plane.

Kelsey did a good job on the plane.  She only got fussy while she was trying to fall alseep.  As you can see she finally did.
Grandma was very excited to meet Kelsey.  I think Kelsey felt the same way.
What's better than being in a hotel than the big bed? This is not where she slept, but she sure does look cute!

7 months!

It's monthly picture time!  I will get back to regular blogging soon.  I went back to work this week to set up my classroom and go to meetings for the upcoming year.  Students start Tuesday for us.

Kelsey is sitting up all the time playing and just had her first tooth break through!!!  Not loving the timing with me going back to work, but Mark and I will continue to work together to help her though the pain.
