Kelsey is learning more and more everyday on how to do things by herself. Her lastest "trick" is that she can hold her bottle. She doesn't do it for the whole time, but does let daddy have a break. These pictures and video were taken on different days so you can see it's becoming a consistent thing for her to do.

Growing Up Fast
Kelsey is growing up fast. As you can see in the pictures she's practicing sitting up. This is how I found them while I was getting some things done in the house. Kelsey chiling next to Mark while he got some work done. After that we went to her 4 month well visit. She is doing great. Her weight was 11 lbs 6.5 oz. which is only in the 10th percentile. Her height however is 24 inches and in the 50th percentile. The pediatrician said everything was fine and she is one happy healthy baby, which is all we can ask for.
Uh, daddy, mommy is here. |
I'm such a big girl I can even use the arm rest. :-) |

4 Months!!!
Kelsey is 4 months old today. Here are some pictures taken last night before bed. She is learning new things every day. She loves to grab at some of her toys and loves to put them in her mouth. She also has started laughing. We go in for her 4 month appt. this week so we will give an update later in the week on her stats.

Trip to PA
This past weekend we went to PA to visit NanNan and PopPop. Mark and Scott played in a golf tournament while Joan and I packed up some stuff and relaxed with Kelsey. Here is what NanNan does best, gets Kelsey to take a nap, and PopPop watching the Phillies.

Romper Room
I am very fortunate to have teacher friends who had babies around the same time as me. Some were born within the same week as Kelsey. We've gotten together a few times while we have all been on maternity leave and it has been wonderful to other mothers to talk to about our little ones. You can see how much fun the romper room is. At this meeting there are 6 babies (shown below) and two toddlers running around. They did not sit still for the picture.
Here are all of the babies. Braeden is the oldest not looking at the camera and Tyler is the youngest all the way to the right. |
These two are twins who were born 4 days after Kelsey |
This is Eleanor and Kelsey who were due a day apart but ended up being born almost 3 weeks apart. |

Marvelous Mother's Day
Kelsey, Mark, and I had a marvelous Mother's Day. I made sure Kelsey wore the same dress Grace did on her first Mother's Day with Jenelle (picture to the right from May 2007) to church. Grandpa came for dinner while Grandma was out in Nebraska visiting Great Grandma.

Wedding Weekend
We will play a little catch up here. On April 30th Meghan and Dan got married which meant the whole family was together, even Shawn, to celebrate. NanNan and PopPop came down to help with the wedding and to babysit Nathan and Kelsey while the parents got an evening to party!
This is a priceless picture. After 9 takes we found one that had veryone looking the right way, or at least close. |
